Finish Thompson's New Drum Pump Motor   Finish Thompson’s design engineers have been hard at work developing terrific new motor additions to our drum pump product line. The new motors are the M3V, M5V and M5V-US.  These new motors are designed for use with our popular PF, TB and TBP Series drum pumps. The powerful 650-watt motor has a 10,000-rpm maximum speed for outstanding flow and head capabilities. The infinitely variable electronic speed control allows the fluid flow to be precisely controlled. The motor features a unique tool free attachment method. The lower portion of the motor has a collet style connection. Simply slide the motor on the pump tube and rotate the easy to turn nut to tighten. That’s it! The double wall motor housing reduces noise and vibration. A CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) designed labyrinth, downdraft cooling system provides optimum cooling for extended motor life.   The ON/OFF switch is internally mounted to protect it from damage. An externally mounted switch plate operates the internal switch. The integral motor overload is automatically reset if necessary by moving the switch to the OFF position. The lightweight and ergonomic motors are 50/60 Hz compatible and are available in 115 and 230-volt versions with multiple plug offerings for worldwide operation. The motors are cCSAus or CE approved and RoHS compliant and are in stock available for shipment.
